    		Knock Shrine stands to recognize the Apparition that was winessed by fifteen people on the 21st of August in 1879. The witnesses saw Our Lady, St. Joseph, and St. John the Evangelist in a blaze of heavenly light and the Apparition lasted two hours. The Basilica is open 24-hours daily.
